What exactly is a ball mosaic?
Each mosaic is made out of little 6mm diameter colored balls. Each mosaic only uses 5 colors. A Standard Sized mosaic uses over 46,000 colored balls. To hold the balls in place they are dropped in clear tubes. The tubes are then laid in vertically, side by side to create the image. A large custom frame is then constructed exactly for your mosaic

A Standard Size mosaic is approximately 4ft tall by 6ft wide.

These mosaics are very durable and hold up perfectly in public settings. Even when viewers touch the mosaics or run their fingers across the tubes, they hold up just fine. These mosaics are not intended to be displayed outdoors. If you are interested in displaying a mosaic outdoors, let me know and I can construct one made to hold up to the elements. I recommend you keep the standard ball mosaics inside.

How hard is it to install these mosaics?
It is not any harder than hanging a regular picture. With every mosaic order comes instructions on how to hang the art. With your mosaic comes a durable cleat you level, secure to a wall and then hang the mosaic on. Couldn't be simpler.
